Our Family Night Suppers are a time when our congregation can
come together to enjoy a pot-luck supper in our Fellowship Hall.
These events are casual and the emphasis is on getting to know each other
better. Each program is a little different but all are fun
and entertaining. Child Care is provided.

Every Spring, our congregation moves our Sunday Service to the Old
Historic Church at Homeland Heritage Park in Homeland, Florida. The
Service begins at 10:00 A.M. with a picnic lunch following the praisin' and preachin'. The
First Presbyterian Church 'ButtRubbers' prepare the meat, corn on the cob, and hot dogs.
Families are asked to bring lawn chairs and blankets as well as
traditional picnic food.

The Sunday before Thanksgiving we ask the city to close off the block
of Florida Avenue between our parking lot and the Fellowship Hall so we can
have our annual Thanksgiving in the Street. The men of the church
cook turkeys and volunteers bring sweet potatoes, green beans, dressing,
and pies. Tables are set up in the street under the shade of
100-year-old oaks.
